Before you start speaking Kazakh
I grew up speaking Russian in Kazakhstan. Will this help me switch?
It is the commonest case. You understand a great deal; the work is in producing Kazakh under no pressure, many times, with the Russian words and endings that leak in caught each time.
Cyrillic or the new Latin alphabet?
Both are shown with transliteration. Speaking is the same.
Are the corrections explained in my own language?
