Nepali · नेपाली · AI speaking partner
Nepali is learned by trekking guides’ clients who want more than "namaste", by volunteers and NGO staff in Kathmandu, by partners, and by the children of the diaspora in Britain, Australia and the Gulf. Hindi speakers start ahead; everyone else starts with a kind, patient grammar and a hard respect system.
Your AI partner talks with you in Nepali daily, patient with the respect levels, with Devanagari and transliteration on screen, and corrections explained in English or Hindi.

Speak from day one. Real conversations, corrected out loud.
Why Nepali is hard to speak
"Ta", "timi", "tapaai", "hajur": each with its own verb forms, and the wrong one to an elder is a real slip. The scenes put you with elders, officials and friends.
"Ma Kathmandu-ma baschhu": the sentence ends in the verb, and the verb carries person and tense. Learned by speaking about your own day.
Nepali drops the Hindi "z" and "f", says "ch" for "s" in some words, and has its own rhythm. Hearing yourself corrected catches each slip.

No. Every word on screen comes with a Latin transliteration, and the practice is spoken. Learn the script alongside if you want to; it is phonetic and takes a week or two.
Yes. You choose the language you already speak at setup (English, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic and 50 more), and explanations in Start from Zero and Word Mode come in it while the practice stays in Nepali.
