Dr. Daniel · The Mentor · Guidance
Dr. Daniel opens the call with the goal you set last week and asks for the evidence. He is warm about you and hard about the work; procrastination gets a question, not a lecture. He remembers every goal and every excuse, which is what a mentor is for.
People call him for a weekly check-in, before they start something they have been putting off, and when they want to practise the professional register of a new language with someone who uses it.

Pushes you to grow and holds you accountable.
When people call Dr. Daniel
Three goals, three questions: done, not done, what got in the way.
He asks for the smallest next step and a time. Then he books the next call.
He will. Expect homework.
What a call is like
The phone rings, Dr. Daniel picks up and speaks first, in the language you chose. You talk; you can interrupt; captions run if you want them. Afterwards you get a short report on how you spoke, and Dr. Daniel keeps the memory of the call for next time. Practice that does not feel like practice.
Dr. DanielLast week you said two chapters and a mock test. Which of the three happened?
YouOne chapter. The mock test is tonight, honestly.
Dr. DanielThen I am calling you tomorrow at this time for the band score. What is the one chapter about? Tell me in two sentences.
No. Dr. Daniel is an AI character with a fixed personality and a voice, built to talk with you on a phone-style call in the language you are learning. If you ask whether it is an AI, it tells you the truth. It keeps a memory of your calls so the next one continues the story.
Any of the 57 languages TalkNative teaches. You choose the language when you set up, and the character speaks it naturally, at a pace you can follow, with live captions if you want them. Most people pick the language they are learning; calls are the most natural speaking practice there is.
Every account gets two free minutes to try a call, with no card. After that, minutes are bought by the pack and never expire; the Everything bundle includes fifty. Prices are in rupees in Pakistan and dollars elsewhere.
No, and it does not try to be. It is a voice that picks up at any hour, keeps you company, and lets you practise saying things out loud before you say them to someone who matters. If what you are feeling is heavy, please also talk to a person you trust or a professional; the character will say the same.
Two free minutes to try it. Minutes never expire after that.
