Why a mirror is not enough
Speaking is reacting. Without a question you do not practise the hard part, which is finding the words while someone waits.
Why alone is actually an advantage
Nobody to impress, nobody to apologise to. People who freeze in a class speak freely to the coach, and the freedom transfers.
Why daily beats long
Ten minutes every day gives you seventy sentences a week in your own voice. Two hours on Saturday gives you one tired hour and a week of forgetting.
The plan
Ten days, ten minutes each
Every day is one conversation with the coach. Do them in order; day seven and day ten give you a Confidence Score to compare.
- 1
tell the coach who you are and why you are learning. Two minutes.
- 2
your daily routine, in the present tense, with the coach asking follow-ups.
- 3
yesterday, in the past tense. Read the corrections after.
- 4
your plans for the weekend. Future forms, and a reason for each plan.
- 5
describe a photo on your phone to the coach in detail.
- 6
a problem you have and what you might do about it.
- 7
ten minutes and your first Confidence Score.
- 8
a story from your childhood, with a beginning, middle and end.
- 9
the coach gives you three small dares in the conversation; do all three.
- 10
ten minutes, any topic, then compare the score with day 7.
The coach is waiting for day one
A warm voice that talks with you about your day, never interrupts, shows the natural version of what you said on screen, and scores how confidently you carried the conversation. Ten minutes. Nobody watching.

How can I practise English speaking alone at home?
Talk to someone who answers. Reading aloud and shadowing train pronunciation but not conversation, because nothing comes back. A daily AI coach asks questions, follows up on what you said and shows the natural version of your sentences on screen, which is the part of practice you cannot do with a mirror.
Is practising with an AI as good as a real partner?
For building the habit and the reflexes, it is often better: available at any hour, never bored, never judging, and it corrects every sentence, which a polite friend will not. Real conversations are still the goal; this is the practice that gets you ready for them.
How many minutes a day?
Ten. Enough to have a real exchange, short enough to do every day, and the Confidence Score makes the progress visible so you keep going.
Is the coach free?
Every account gets three free minutes of coaching with no card. Full access is a one-time payment for 30 days.
